How did the AI prediction hold up?
Touchdown Week's AI Prediction had the Packers winning, with a projected score of Packers 24, Buccaneers 16 at medium confidence. The pick was right on the winner, with the projected margin off by 5 points. With the margin off by 5. The Thursday update moved this from 52 to 62 percent after Baker Mayfield was ruled out, and the model stopped short of High because of its record against backup quarterbacks. That caution was warranted: undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels went 19 of 27 and Tampa Bay scored late to make it a field-goal game. Green Bay lost Edgerrin Cooper to an Achilles injury.
