Amik Robertson has never lacked confidence since arriving in the league as a fourth-round pick out of Louisiana Tech. After stops in Las Vegas and Detroit, the physical slot-turned-outside corner delivered his best statistical season yet in 2025.
Path to the league
Robertson started as a freshman at Louisiana Tech and never gave up the job, capping his college run in 2019 with All-American honors from the AP, PFF and FWAA along with Conference USA First-team and LSWA Defensive Player of the Year recognition. The Las Vegas Raiders drafted him in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Career highlights
Robertson spent his first four seasons with the Raiders before moving on to Detroit, where he was pressed into outside cornerback duty and matched up against top receivers like Justin Jefferson. Across his career he has intercepted multiple passes and consistently ranked among the league's more physical, competitive corners in coverage.
2025 season recap
Robertson played all 17 games for the fourth straight year, recording career highs of 52 total tackles and 12 passes defensed to go with an interception and two forced fumbles.
