A Stanford-to-Georgia transfer tight end who signed with Minnesota as an undrafted free agent and carved out a special-teams role as a rookie.

Ben Yurosek spent four seasons as a productive pass-catching tight end at Stanford before transferring to Georgia for his final college year. Undrafted in 2025, he landed with the Minnesota Vikings and stuck on the 53-man roster behind an established tight end room, mostly contributing on special teams and in a reserve offensive role.

Path to the league

Yurosek played four seasons at Stanford from 2020 to 2023, catching 108 passes for 1,342 yards and five touchdowns while also earning All-Pac-12 recognition. He transferred to Georgia for the 2024 season, where he caught 15 passes for 185 yards as part of a crowded Bulldogs tight end group. He went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft and signed with the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent.

Career highlights

At Stanford, Yurosek was a first-team All-Pac-12 selection by Pro Football Focus in 2021 and a second-team All-Pac-12 pick by the Associated Press and conference coaches in 2022, developing into one of the most productive receiving tight ends in the country during his time with the Cardinal.

2025 season recap

Yurosek made the Vikings' roster as an undrafted rookie and appeared in 14 games, catching two passes for 14 yards on offense while logging most of his snaps on special teams. His first NFL catch came in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
