T.J. Hockenson tore his ACL on Christmas Eve 2023 and missed most of 2024. The 2025 return was uneven (45 catches, 480 yards). Year three with the Vikings after the trade from Detroit should see him return to his pre-injury form as the Minnesota offense settles around J.J. McCarthy.

Iowa product taken 8th overall by Detroit in 2019, the highest a tight end had been drafted in 13 years. Won the 2018 Mackey Award. Traded to Minnesota in October 2022.

2025 season recap
45 catches for 480 yards and 4 TDs across 14 games. Minnesota went 9-8 with three different QBs. Hockenson's chemistry with McCarthy in 2026 OTAs has been one of the team's most encouraging spring storylines.
