Path to the league

Culp played his college football at Washington, where he was a role player in the Huskies' offense rather than a featured target, catching a career-high two touchdowns as a senior. The Buccaneers selected him in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft, No. 246 overall.

Career highlights

Culp made Tampa Bay's 53-man roster as a rookie in 2024 and scored his first career NFL touchdown on his first career catch, a six-yard grab that put the Buccaneers ahead of the Falcons late in the 2024 season. He has stayed on the roster as the club's third tight end behind Cade Otton and Payne Durham.

2025 season recap

Culp appeared in 12 games in 2025 but was a healthy scratch for the first two weeks and played sparingly behind Otton and Durham the rest of the way. His lone catch of the season, on his only target, went for a six-yard touchdown against Atlanta in Week 15 when Otton was out with a knee injury.
