Bo Richter went undrafted out of Air Force in 2024 despite elite college production and testing among the top athletes at his position, then earned a roster spot with the Vikings on the strength of his motor and special-teams value. He has since become a steady rotational contributor and was re-signed by Minnesota in March 2026.

Path to the league

Richter starred at Air Force in 2023, leading all of college football in tackles for loss with 19.5 to go with 45 total tackles, ten sacks and three forced fumbles, earning first-team All-Mountain West honors. He tested among the top athletes at his position, with pressure numbers matching first-round pick Dallas Turner, but went undrafted in 2024 and signed with the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent.
