An iron-man UConn tackle who started 48 of 49 possible college games before a knee injury cut short his rookie NFL season.
Chase Lundt built his reputation at UConn on availability and steady pass protection, rarely missing a snap across four college seasons. The Bills drafted him in the sixth round in 2025 to develop as offensive line depth, and while a knee injury limited his rookie year, he joined a Huskies pipeline to Buffalo that already included former teammate Ryan Van Demark.
Path to the league
A native of Arlington, Texas, Lundt started all 49 games of his college career at UConn, missing only a single contest. As a senior he allowed no sacks across 429 pass-blocking snaps, helping the Huskies to a 9-4 record and a Fenway Bowl win over North Carolina, and earned All-New England All-Star honors along with recognition as a HERO Sports Group of Five All-American.
Career highlights
The Bills selected Lundt in the sixth round, 206th overall, in the 2025 NFL Draft, making him the ninth UConn offensive lineman in program history to be drafted. He reunited with former UConn teammate Ryan Van Demark on Buffalo's offensive line.
2025 season recap
Lundt played a limited rookie season, appearing in just two games with three offensive snaps against New Orleans in Week 4 and five special-teams snaps against Pittsburgh in Week 13. A knee injury ended his year early, and he was placed on injured reserve in December after being ruled out for Buffalo's game against Cleveland.
