A four-school journey through Hutchinson, West Virginia, Nevada and Memphis produced an All-Conference receiving season and a shot with the Ravens.
Cortez Braham Jr. bounced through four different college programs before finally breaking out as a first-team All-American Conference receiver at Memphis in 2025. He went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft but quickly signed with the Baltimore Ravens, giving the team a big-bodied target at 6-foot-2.
Path to the league
Braham, out of Westwood High School in Columbia, South Carolina, began his college career at Hutchinson Community College before transferring to West Virginia, then Nevada, and finally following quarterback Brendon Lewis to Memphis for his final season. He went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft and signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent.
Career highlights
Braham caught 68 passes for 1,387 yards and 17 touchdowns over three seasons at Hutchinson before moving on to West Virginia. He rebuilt his production at Nevada in 2024 with 56 catches for 724 yards and four touchdowns, then earned first-team All-American Conference honors at Memphis in 2025.
2025 season recap
In his lone season at Memphis, Braham caught 63 passes for 889 yards and eight touchdowns, highlighted by a seven-catch, 75-yard, two-touchdown outing against South Florida that included the game-winning score.
