Path to the league

Wagner redshirted his first year at Arkansas before becoming a full-time starter, ultimately making 40 career starts for the Razorbacks from 2017 to 2022. He went undrafted in 2023 and signed with the Raiders, receiving the largest guarantee of any undrafted free agent in their 2023 class.

Career highlights

As a senior team captain in 2022, Wagner started all 12 games and earned first-team All-SEC recognition from Pro Football Focus, along with an invite to the East-West Shrine Bowl. His combination of length and power at 6-foot-8, 320 pounds made him a intriguing developmental tackle prospect despite going unselected in the draft.

2025 season recap

Wagner's early NFL career has been defined by injury and roster shuffling: he was placed on injured reserve in August 2023 and has cycled between the practice squad and reserve/future contracts each offseason since, including a new deal signed in January 2026. He has appeared in just one career regular-season game through 2025.
