Davis Allen built a reputation at Clemson as a steady, team-first tight end before Los Angeles took him in the middle rounds of the 2023 draft. He has grown his role each year, culminating in career-best receiving numbers in 2025 as the Rams made another playoff push.

Path to the league

Allen played 54 games with 25 starts across five seasons at Clemson, catching 88 passes for 951 yards and 12 touchdowns, one of just six tight ends in program history with double-digit career touchdown receptions. He was the only unanimous team captain voted by his Clemson teammates. The Rams selected him in the fifth round, No. 175 overall, of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Allen made his NFL debut in Week 1 of his rookie season against the Seattle Seahawks and has steadily built on that role since, developing into a trusted depth piece and occasional red-zone target in the Rams' offense.
