DeMarcus Lawrence is a veteran pass rusher who won Super Bowl LX with the Seattle Seahawks after 11 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.
DeMarcus Lawrence spent more than a decade as one of the Dallas Cowboys' defensive cornerstones before signing with the Seattle Seahawks in 2025. The Boise State product reached the Pro Bowl multiple times in Dallas and added another in his first Seattle season. He capped the 2025 run with a Super Bowl title.
Path to the league
Lawrence began his college career at Butler Community College before transferring to Boise State, where he was named the Broncos' Most Valuable Defensive Player and forced three fumbles as a junior. The Dallas Cowboys traded up to select him in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He grew into one of the franchise's most productive edge defenders.

Lawrence spent 11 seasons with the Cowboys, earning multiple Pro Bowl selections as a disruptive pass rusher and run defender. In March 2025 he signed a three-year, $42 million contract with the Seattle Seahawks, joining a defense built to contend.
2025 season
Lawrence finished the 2025 season with six sacks, 53 total tackles, one pass defended, and three forced fumbles, earning his fifth career Pro Bowl nod. In a November win over the Arizona Cardinals he tied an NFL single-game record with two fumble recovery touchdowns. He recorded sacks in the Divisional Round win over the 49ers and the NFC Championship win over the Rams, and the Seahawks beat the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX.
