Dyami Brown made his mark at North Carolina as a big-play deep threat, and he flashed that ceiling in the NFL with a standout playoff performance for Washington. After a one-year detour to Jacksonville, the receiver has come back to the Commanders organization that took a chance on him in 2021.

Path to the league

Brown starred at North Carolina from 2018 to 2020, posting back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons and finishing with 21 career touchdowns. As a junior he was a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist, a First-Team All-ACC selection, and a Third-Team AP All-American. Washington drafted him in the third round, 82nd overall, in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Brown set career highs with 30 receptions and 308 receiving yards during the 2024 regular season with Washington, then turned in a breakout playoff run, catching 14 of 18 targets for 229 yards and a touchdown, numbers that helped land him a free agent deal elsewhere.

2025 season recap

Brown signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars for 2025, appearing in 14 games and recording 20 receptions for 227 yards and a touchdown. He returned to Washington in March 2026, rejoining the franchise that originally drafted him.
