A former Baylor pass-rusher who went from undrafted free agent to Super Bowl champion in his rookie season.

Gabe Hall spent five seasons developing at Baylor before signing with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent. After a full rookie year on the practice squad, he earned a Super Bowl ring with Philadelphia's 2024 championship team and has since worked his way toward a bigger role on the Eagles' defensive line.

Path to the league

Hall played defensive tackle at Baylor from 2019 to 2023, missing significant time as a freshman with injury before developing into a disruptive interior lineman. He went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2024.

Career highlights

Hall's best college season came in 2021, when he recorded 18 tackles with seven for a loss, six sacks and a forced fumble. He earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors in 2022 after a three-sack performance against Texas Tech.

2025 season recap

Hall spent his entire rookie season on the Eagles' practice squad in 2024 and was part of the organization when Philadelphia beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX. He signed a reserve/future contract on February 14, 2025, and made the Eagles' 53-man roster the following training camp, reflecting the growth he credited to his year of practice-squad development.
