Jaden Smith is an oversized wide receiver out of Fort Worth who used his rare size to become a matchup problem in the red zone across stops at Montana State, Tarleton State and Nevada. After going undrafted and spending his rookie year on injured reserve with Tampa Bay, Smith is now chasing a roster spot back home with Dallas.
Path to the league
Smith played at Montana State before transferring to Tarleton State, where he broke out in 2022 with 48 catches for 822 yards and 10 touchdowns. He later transferred to Nevada, catching 62 passes for 849 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024. He went undrafted in 2025 and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
