An undrafted receiver who transferred from Duke to UCLA for one big season, Jake Bobo became a fan-favorite in Seattle and a Super Bowl LX champion.

Jake Bobo made the Seahawks' 53-man roster as an undrafted rookie in 2023 on the strength of his hands and route precision, then stuck around long enough to catch a touchdown in the NFC Championship and win it all in Super Bowl LX.

Path to the league

Bobo grew up in North Andover, Massachusetts and played four seasons at Duke, where he earned Third-team All-ACC honors in 2021 with 74 receptions for 794 yards. He transferred to UCLA for his final season and caught 57 passes for 817 yards and seven touchdowns. Seattle signed him as an undrafted free agent in May 2023.

Career highlights

Bobo made the Seahawks' initial 53-man roster after a standout training camp and preseason, earning praise from teammate DK Metcalf for his precise route running. He appeared in all 17 games as a rookie, recording 19 receptions for 196 yards and two touchdowns.

2025 season recap

Bobo contributed mostly on special teams in 2025 but came up with a big moment in the postseason, catching a 17-yard touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game. He and the Seahawks went on to beat the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX, giving Bobo his first championship.
