Josh Jones has quietly bounced through four NFL organizations since being drafted out of Houston in 2020, and it was Seattle where his career hit its high point. He earned a Super Bowl LX ring with the Seahawks and re-signed with the team in 2026.
Path to the league
Jones started 13 games as a redshirt freshman at Houston and worked his way to a senior season at left tackle that earned him second-team All-American Athletic Conference honors and a 2020 Senior Bowl invite. The Arizona Cardinals selected him in the third round (72nd overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Career highlights
Jones spent three seasons as a backup tackle in Arizona before a 2023 trade sent him to Houston in exchange for a seventh-round pick. He signed with Baltimore in 2024 before landing in Seattle on a one-year deal in March 2025. That season, Jones made his first start since 2023 in Week 16 against the Rams and was part of Seattle's Super Bowl LX championship roster.
