Kelee Ringo turned a viral pick-six against Alabama into a five-star legacy at Georgia, and he has since become a starting cornerback and Super Bowl champion in Philadelphia.

Kelee Ringo is a cornerback whose 79-yard interception return sealed a national championship for Georgia and set the stage for his NFL career. A former top-ranked cornerback recruit, he has started regularly for the Eagles since being drafted in 2023 and has already won a Super Bowl ring.

Path to the league

Ringo was a five-star recruit and the No. 1-ranked cornerback prospect in the country coming out of Saguaro High School. After redshirting in 2020 due to a labrum injury, he became a starter at Georgia and helped the Bulldogs win back-to-back national championships. The Philadelphia Eagles traded up to select him with the 105th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Ringo's signature college moment came in the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship Game, when he returned an interception 79 yards for a touchdown to seal Georgia's win over Alabama. He earned second-team All-SEC honors in 2022 and was part of the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX championship team, which defeated Kansas City 40-22.

2025 season recap

Ringo started all 17 games for Philadelphia in 2025, recording 37 tackles, two pass deflections, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He didn't come away with an interception on the season but remained a steady presence in the Eagles' secondary as they defended their Super Bowl title.
