Path to the league

A four-star recruit out of Mater Dei High School, Hudson originally committed to Oregon before flipping to USC. After four seasons with the Trojans, he transferred to Penn State for 2025. He was not invited to the NFL Combine, went undrafted in 2026, and signed with the Bears as a free agent.

Career highlights

Hudson's best season at USC came in 2024, when he caught 38 passes for 462 yards and three touchdowns, including a five-catch, 83-yard game against LSU. For his college career across USC and Penn State, he totaled 72 receptions for 807 yards and eight touchdowns.

2025 season recap

In his only season at Penn State, Hudson settled into a No. 3 receiver role behind Trebor Peña and Devonte Ross, playing in 13 games with six starts and catching 23 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns. He ran a 4.64-second 40-yard dash and posted a 30.5-inch vertical at Penn State's pro day before signing with Chicago.
