Path to the league

Treadwell starred at Ole Miss from 2013 to 2015, earning second-team All-American honors and leaving as the program's all-time leader in receptions with 202. The Vikings selected him 23rd overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. His production never matched the draft billing, and he became a journeyman.

Career highlights

After his time in Minnesota, Treadwell made stops with several teams while reinventing himself as a special-teams player. He first signed with the Colts in July 2024. He has carved out a niche as a veteran depth receiver and coverage contributor.

2025 season

Treadwell was released at final cuts in August 2025 and re-signed to the practice squad two days later, then was promoted to the active roster in November, per reporting. He played mostly on special teams, logging 141 special-teams snaps and eight stops without recording a reception. Indianapolis re-signed him in March 2026.
