Colts' Alec Pierce Carted Off With Heel Injury at Kansas City; X-Rays Negative

Indianapolis Colts receiver Alec Pierce left Sunday night's 33-30 overtime loss at Kansas City with a left heel injury late in the first quarter. X-rays taken at Arrowhead Stadium were negative, a source told ESPN, and he will be evaluated further on Monday.
How bad did it look?
Pierce could not bear weight on the leg and needed help to reach the medical tent with 1:45 left in the first quarter, then was carted to the locker room. He was listed as questionable before being ruled out in the second quarter. It is the same leg he had ankle surgery on in March to fix a chronic problem.
What's at stake for the Colts?
Pierce signed a four-year, $114 million contract in March and was expected to be a centerpiece of the passing game. Laquon Treadwell took most of his snaps against the Chiefs and caught three passes for 61 yards.
