An Iowa run-stuffer who finally got his first taste of NFL action after his entire rookie year was erased by injury.

Logan Lee spent his first professional season watching from injured reserve, but the sixth-round pick out of Iowa made his long-delayed NFL debut in 2025. Known in college for his interior run defense, Lee is now working to prove he belongs in the Steelers' defensive line rotation.

Path to the league

Lee started 41 games over three seasons at Iowa, racking up 158 tackles, 18.5 for loss, nine sacks and seven passes defensed while earning Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honors in each of his final two years. The Steelers drafted him in the sixth round (178th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft, valuing his interior presence as a run-stopper.

Career highlights

Lee signed a four-year rookie contract with Pittsburgh, but a calf injury suffered in his first training camp landed him on injured reserve and cost him his entire rookie season without appearing in a game.

2025 season recap
