Path to the league
Wax played five seasons at Syracuse (2020-2024), developing from a 33-tackle freshman into a second-team All-ACC linebacker in 2023, when he racked up 110 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and four sacks. A 2024 injury limited him to eight games and 44 tackles, and he went undrafted in 2025 before signing with the Los Angeles Chargers.
