Marshall Foerner

Offensive Tackle · Minnesota State

A massive Division II product out of Minnesota State, Marshall Foerner spent a full year outside the league before finally landing a roster spot with the Buccaneers.

Marshall Foerner is an offensive tackle who took an unusually patient road to the NFL, going unsigned for most of 2025 before Tampa Bay gave him a shot. At 6-foot-6 and over 300 pounds, he now enters his first real NFL season fighting for reps along the Buccaneers' offensive line.

Drew tryout interest from five NFL teams in 2025

Path to the league

Foerner played his college football at Minnesota State University, Mankato, a Division II program, before entering the 2025 NFL Draft process undrafted. He initially signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent but did not make the team's active roster or practice squad.

Career highlights

After being let go by Indianapolis, Foerner drew tryout interest from four additional teams during the 2025 season, including the Buccaneers, without landing a roster spot. His size at 6-foot-6 and roughly 308 pounds has kept him firmly on NFL radars despite the small-school background.

2025 season recap

Foerner spent the entire 2025 regular season out of the league after being cut loose by Indianapolis, working out for multiple teams but not appearing in a regular-season game. Tampa Bay signed him to a reserve/futures contract in January 2026, giving him his first real foothold on an NFL roster.
