Mike Hall Jr. grew up just outside Cleveland and became a second-round pick of his hometown Browns in 2024 after a productive career at Ohio State. Path to the league

Hall grew up in Garfield Heights and Streetsboro, Ohio, and was a four-star recruit before starring at Ohio State from 2021 to 2023. He posted 4.5 sacks and a team-best 7.5 tackles for loss as a redshirt freshman in 2022 and earned third-team All-Big Ten honors twice. The Browns drafted him 54th overall in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Across three seasons at Ohio State, Hall totaled roughly 45 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 6 sacks while playing a key interior role for the Buckeyes' defense.
