A second-round pass rusher whose promising rookie season was cut short by a broken leg in Las Vegas.

Oluwafemi Oladejo made the jump from off-ball linebacker to full-time edge rusher during his final year at UCLA, and the Titans bet on that upside with a second-round pick in 2025. He flashed disruptive ability early in his rookie season before a fractured leg ended his year prematurely.

Path to the league

Oladejo began his college career at California before transferring to UCLA for his final two seasons. He moved from linebacker to the edge as a senior in 2024, starting all 12 games and piling up 57 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. The Titans selected him 52nd overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

At 6-foot-3 and 259 pounds, Oladejo profiled as a developmental edge with a nonstandard path to the position, having spent most of his college snaps off the ball before his breakout senior year rushing the passer. His draft standing as a Day 2 pick reflected teams' confidence in his upside despite the limited experience at the position.

2025 season recap

Oladejo appeared in six games as a rookie, recording 13 tackles, two tackles for loss and a quarterback hit before fracturing his leg on October 12 against the Raiders. He was placed on injured reserve, was designated to return in December, but was unable to progress enough to play again before the season ended.
