The son of a former NFL cornerback, Washington tight end Quentin Moore battled back from a serious knee injury for a career-best senior season before signing with the Commanders.
Quentin Moore signed with Washington as an undrafted free agent after five seasons at the University of Washington, most of them spent as a special teams and rotational piece while injuries slowed his development. He is the son of Mark Moore, a former Oklahoma State standout and Seattle Seahawks defensive back, and he is now fighting for a backup tight end role built around his size and blocking.
Path to the league
A three-star recruit out of Inglemoor High School near Kenmore, Washington, Moore chose to stay home and play for the Huskies rather than join the Big 12 programs also recruiting him. He went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft and signed with Washington's Commanders as a free agent.
