Jones grew up in Montreal and attended Collège André-Grasset before beginning his college career at Maine. He transferred to Montana State for 2024 and then to Arkansas for his senior season in 2025, going unselected in the 2026 NFL Draft before signing with the Rams as an undrafted free agent on a three-year, $3.11 million contract.

At Maine in 2023, Jones caught 22 passes for 240 yards and five touchdowns while also handling kickoff return duties.
