Former Chiefs second-round pick who reinvented himself as a returner and signed with Green Bay in 2026.
Skyy Moore entered the league with high expectations as a second-round pick but found his clearest value as a return man. The Packers signed him in March 2026 to upgrade a special-teams unit that needed a boost.
Path to the league
Moore was a first-team All-MAC receiver at Western Michigan, posting 95 catches for 1,292 yards and nine touchdowns in 2021. The Kansas City Chiefs drafted him 54th overall in 2022. He won a Super Bowl ring with Kansas City before his role narrowed.
Career highlights
Across his career Moore has appeared in 53 games with 11 starts, registering 48 receptions for 581 yards and a touchdown, per the Packers' official site. His skill set shifted toward special teams, where his quickness and ball security made him a reliable returner. The Chiefs traded him to San Francisco in August 2025.
2025 season
Playing for the 49ers in 2025, Moore ranked sixth in the NFL with a 27.5-yard average on 33 kickoff returns and seventh on punt returns at 11.6 yards per return, per the Packers. Green Bay signed him to a one-year, $2.5 million deal on March 13, 2026.
