Thomas Incoom's path to the NFL ran from Ghana to Valdosta State to Central Michigan, where he terrorized MAC offensive lines before going undrafted. He has carved out a roster spot with the Panthers as a core special-teamer and depth linebacker, a role he has held onto since 2024.

Path to the league

Incoom moved to the United States from Ghana at age 12 and developed into a standout pass rusher in college, first at Valdosta State and then at Central Michigan, where he racked up 28.5 sacks for his career and earned First-Team All-MAC honors. He went unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft and signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent.

Career highlights

Incoom appeared in four games for Denver as a rookie in 2023, recording a tackle against Miami and assisting on another against Detroit. He joined the Carolina Panthers' practice squad in August 2024 and has since worked his way into a steady special-teams role, re-signing with the club after the 2025 season.

2025 season recap
