Tyron Herring is a cornerback who signed with Cleveland in May 2026 after stints on the practice squads of both the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers. The Delaware product started his college career at Dartmouth in the Ivy League before transferring to Delaware, where his ball-hawking instincts turned him into an all-conference performer.
Path to the league
Herring played three seasons at Dartmouth from 2019 to 2022, recording 49 tackles and an interception, before transferring to Delaware for his final two college seasons. At Delaware from 2023 to 2024, he posted 72 tackles, four interceptions and 11 passes defensed, earning All-CAA honorable mention in 2023 and second-team All-CAA in 2024.
