Vaai Jericho "Uso" Seumalo is a nose tackle who traveled from Molokai High School to Garden City Community College and finally to Kansas State, where he spent four seasons as a run-stuffing interior lineman. He signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in May 2026.
Path to the league
Seumalo grew up in Kaunakakai, Hawaii, and attended Molokai High School before starting his college career at Garden City Community College in 2020. Over two seasons there he racked up 23.5 tackles for loss, production that helped him earn a transfer to Kansas State in 2022.

Seumalo played four seasons at Kansas State, appearing in 50 games and totaling 57 tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and five pass deflections as an interior run-stuffer. He earned All-Big 12 honorable mention recognition in 2023 after a season with eight solo tackles and 1.5 sacks.
