Georgia Tech's first drafted defensive tackle since 2016, and a rookie standout among the NFL's late-round defenders.

Zeek Biggers is a mammoth defensive tackle who developed from a bit player into a 26-game starter at Georgia Tech. A seventh-round pick by Miami in 2025, he made the most of a limited early role, becoming the only rookie drafted in the final two rounds of his class to record a sack that season.

Path to the league

Listed at 6-foot-5.5 and 321 pounds, Biggers went from playing just 51 snaps as a freshman in 2021 to starting 26 consecutive games to close his Georgia Tech career. The Dolphins drafted him with the 253rd overall pick in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft, making him the first Yellow Jacket defensive tackle drafted since Adam Gotsis in 2016.

Career highlights

In his senior season at Georgia Tech, Biggers earned All-ACC Honorable Mention honors, finishing his college career with 104 tackles, nine tackles for loss and two sacks over 47 games. He also blocked more field goals than any player in college football over his final four seasons, averaging one per year.

2025 season recap

Biggers played in nine games as a rookie, recording 1.5 sacks. He didn't see consistent snaps until Week 10, but over his final eight games he played 40.2% of Miami's defensive snaps and posted 20 tackles, one tackle for loss, 1.5 sacks and four quarterback hits, making him the only rookie drafted in the final two rounds of the 2025 class to record a sack.
