New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart drew praise from teammates and coaches Monday for sliding after a third-down run during practice, the first time he's done so across 11 camp practices this summer.

Dart was evaluated for a concussion five separate times during his rookie season last year, with one officially documented concussion, as the Giants went 4-13. His habit of lowering his head into contact instead of sliding or stepping out of bounds had been a repeated concern for the team.

Linebacker Brian Burns said, "We've been begging him to do that for a while. So, I'm glad that he's starting to practice it." Coach John Harbaugh added, "I did. I clapped. I applauded. I applauded when he did that. It was great."
