Path to the league
At 6-foot-6 and 331 pounds, Ersery was a fixture at left tackle for the Minnesota Golden Gophers and was named Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year. He allowed just five sacks across his college career, including only one sack and one quarterback hit in his final season. The Houston Texans selected him 48th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.
