Nathan Thomas, who goes by Nate on Dallas's roster, went from a backup to a 25-game starter at left tackle during his time at Louisiana before the Cowboys took a seventh-round flier on him in 2024. At 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds, he has spent his early career developing behind Dallas's veteran offensive line.

Thomas started all 13 games in 2022 and all 12 in 2023 at Louisiana, earning honorable mention All-Sun Belt honors as a senior despite missing the team's bowl game following knee surgery.
