Blake Fisher arrived in Houston with a built-in connection: he blocked for C.J. Stroud at Notre Dame before the Texans made him a second-round pick. Since then he has settled in as a versatile piece of Houston's offensive line, capable of playing either tackle spot.
Path to the league
Fisher became the first true freshman to start at left tackle in Notre Dame history in 2021, then battled back from a torn meniscus to take over right tackle duties by the Fiesta Bowl. He started all 13 games at right tackle in 2022 before the Texans drafted him in the second round, 59th overall, in 2024.
