Arnold Ebiketie built his game on relentless pursuit off the edge, first at Temple and then as a breakout star at Penn State. After four seasons producing for the Atlanta Falcons, the Cameroonian-born linebacker signed with the Eagles in 2026 looking to carve out a larger pass-rushing role.

Path to the league

Ebiketie began his college career at Temple before transferring to Penn State, where his 2021 season put him firmly on NFL radars. He racked up 18 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks and two forced fumbles that year, earning second-team All-America and first-team All-Big Ten honors. The Atlanta Falcons traded up in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft to select him.

Career highlights

Over four seasons in Atlanta, Ebiketie totaled 129 tackles, 16.5 sacks and four forced fumbles as a rotational and occasionally starting edge rusher. The Falcons opted not to bring him back after his rookie contract expired, and he hit the open market in 2026 before signing a one-year deal with Philadelphia.

Ebiketie appeared in all 17 games for Atlanta in 2025 but started just three, finishing with 36 total tackles, 2.0 sacks, five passes defended and a forced fumble in a largely reserve pass-rush role.
