An FCS All-American who piled up yards after the catch for six seasons at Elon before turning pro with Jacksonville.
Chandler Brayboy spent six seasons at Elon developing into one of the FCS's most explosive downfield threats, averaging over 16 yards a catch for his career. The Jacksonville Jaguars signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2025, and he is now working to carve out a role in their receiving corps.
Path to the league
Brayboy played wide receiver at Elon from 2019 to 2024, using extra eligibility to extend his college career. Over his final four seasons he caught 62% of his 262 targets while averaging 16.3 yards per catch with 19 touchdowns. He went undrafted in 2025.
Career highlights
Brayboy's best season came in 2024, when he posted 90 targets, 979 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, earning First-team FCS All-American honors along with CAA Special Teams Player of the Year and a Third-team All-CAA selection in 2022.
2025 season recap
Brayboy signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent but was waived in late-August roster cuts, spending the rest of the season on the practice squad after being re-signed. Jacksonville rewarded his development with a reserve/future contract in January 2026, and he now sits on the active roster wearing No. 15.
