Mack Hollins is a veteran wide receiver who became a steady target for the New England Patriots in 2025.
Hollins is a big-bodied receiver and respected locker-room presence known across the league for his distinctive personality. A fourth-round pick out of North Carolina, he has played for several teams over a long career. He signed with New England and posted one of the most productive seasons of his career in 2025.
Path to the league
Hollins played college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels and was selected by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He won a Super Bowl with Philadelphia as a rookie. He later played for the Dolphins, Raiders, Falcons and Bills before joining the Patriots.
2025 season
Hollins served as one of New England's top targets throughout the 2025 season, giving quarterback Drake Maye a reliable option both outside and in the slot. He posted the second-most catches and receiving yards of his career, per reporting. He was placed on injured reserve late in the season.
2026 outlook
Hollins, who turns 33 early in the 2026 season, signed a two-year deal worth up to $8.4 million with the Patriots, per reporting. New England added other receivers, but he is expected to retain a prominent role as a veteran option.
