Path to the league
Roberts starred at American Fork High School in Utah, an Under Armour All-American who finished with 217 receptions for 3,708 yards and 42 touchdowns. He redshirted his first year at BYU in 2021 after injury, then developed into a full-time contributor over the next four seasons.
