Christian Kirk arrived in the NFL as a do-everything weapon out of Texas A&M and has carved out a long career as a savvy route runner and dependable target. Now in his ninth season, he brings that veteran presence to San Francisco's receiving corps.
Path to the league
Kirk played three seasons at Texas A&M (2015-2017), racking up 234 catches for 2,856 yards and 26 touchdowns while also handling kickoff and punt return duties. He was named SEC Freshman of the Year in 2015 and earned first-team All-SEC honors as an all-purpose player in 2016 and 2017. The Arizona Cardinals selected him in the second round (47th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Career highlights
Kirk spent his first four NFL seasons in Arizona before signing with Jacksonville, where he broke out with a 1,000-yard season and established himself as a full-time No. 1 or No. 2 receiver.
