Path to the league

Taylor-Demerson starred at Carl Albert High School in Oklahoma City before converting from running back to safety at Texas Tech, where he played from 2019 to 2023. He tested as one of the draft's premier athletes at his position, running a 4.41-second 40-yard dash, and the Arizona Cardinals selected him in the fourth round, 104th overall, in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Over five seasons at Texas Tech, Taylor-Demerson appeared in 58 games and racked up 238 tackles and 10 interceptions, earning second-team All-Big 12 honors as a senior in 2023. In his senior year alone he posted 74 tackles, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries. He recorded his first career NFL interception against the San Francisco 49ers in his rookie season.

2025 season recap

Taylor-Demerson took on a larger role for Arizona in 2025, appearing in 12 games and totaling 59 tackles with six pass deflections, including two interceptions. He held opposing quarterbacks to a passer rating below 50 when targeted in his coverage, cementing himself as a dependable piece of the Cardinals secondary.
