Deatrich Wise Jr. spent the early part of his career with the New England Patriots before joining the Washington Commanders. The Arkansas product has been a durable, long-armed defensive end against the run and pass. His 2025 season was cut short by injury, but he stayed in Washington on a new deal.

Wise played four seasons at Arkansas from 2012 through 2016, appearing in 50 games with 10 starts and recording 112 total tackles, 23 tackles for loss, six passes defensed, and four forced fumbles. The New England Patriots selected him in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
