A Seattle native who ran for a 1,000-yard, All-MAC season at Eastern Michigan before signing with the Ravens as an undrafted rookie.
Dontae McMillan signed with Baltimore as an undrafted free agent in April 2026 after breaking out as a senior at Eastern Michigan. The 5-foot-10 back gives the Ravens a dual-threat option out of the backfield as he tries to earn a spot behind the team's veteran running backs.
Path to the league
McMillan, who is from Seattle, Washington, played college football at Weber State before transferring to Eastern Michigan, where he took over as the Eagles' lead back. After going unselected in the 2026 NFL draft, he signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent on April 25, 2026.
Career highlights
McMillan became the first Eastern Michigan running back to earn All-MAC honors since Samson Evans in 2022. His 1,015 rushing yards in 2025 ranked among the top single-season totals in program history, and he showed a complete skill set by contributing heavily as a receiver as well as a runner.
2025 season recap
In his final college season, McMillan produced 1,389 total yards and seven touchdowns for Eastern Michigan, rushing 177 times for 1,015 yards and four scores while adding 33 catches for 375 yards and three more touchdowns through the air. That breakout year earned him All-MAC recognition and set up his undrafted signing with Baltimore.
