Ethan Bonner went undrafted out of Stanford in 2023 but stuck with the Dolphins thanks to his ability to line up at both cornerback and safety. Now in his fourth season with Miami, he has become a reliable rotational piece who has come through with timely plays.

Path to the league

Bonner played his final college season at Stanford, appearing in 10 games with 28 total tackles, three tackles for loss and five pass deflections. He went unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft and signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent, reuniting with former Stanford teammate Elijah Higgins, whom Miami drafted in the sixth round that year.
