An undersized, well-traveled receiver who played at three different colleges before making Cleveland's roster as an undrafted free agent and carving out a role as a punt returner.

Gage Larvadain built his college career from the ground up, starting at Southeastern Louisiana, moving through Miami of Ohio, and finishing at South Carolina. Undrafted in 2025, the 5-foot-8 receiver impressed the Browns enough in camp to make the 53-man roster, where he doubles as a punt returner and deep threat.

Path to the league

Larvadain began his career at Southeastern Louisiana, where he won the Southland Conference Freshman of the Year award in 2021, the program's first winner of that honor since 2008. After two seasons there, he transferred to Miami (OH) for 2023, then to South Carolina for his final college season in 2024. He signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent in May 2025.

Career highlights

Larvadain's best college production came early, with 37 catches for 521 yards and 5 touchdowns as a freshman at Southeastern Louisiana and 59 receptions for 731 yards as a sophomore. At Miami (OH) in 2023 he averaged 16.2 yards per catch on 42 receptions for 679 yards and 6 touchdowns. At South Carolina in 2024 he started 9 of 13 games, catching 19 passes for 223 yards and a touchdown.

2025 season recap

Larvadain was waived by Cleveland during roster cuts but rejoined the active roster on September 30, 2025. Over the course of the season he caught 7 passes for 71 yards and added 167 return yards as the Browns' punt returner, earning notice for his contested-catch ability despite his size.
