Jha'Quan Jackson

Wide Receiver · Tulane

A shifty Tulane return specialist who bounced across three rosters in 2025 before landing with Houston in the spring of 2026.

Jha'Quan Jackson built his college reputation at Tulane as a do-it-all slot receiver and return man, which was enough to get him drafted by Tennessee in 2024. After a rocky path through Nashville, New England and New Orleans, he signed with the Texans in May 2026 looking for a foothold as a receiver and returner.

Path to the league

Jackson played for Tulane from 2019 to 2023, developing into a dual threat as both a pass-catcher and a punt and kick returner. The Tennessee Titans selected him in the sixth round (182nd overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft on the strength of that return ability.

Career highlights

Jackson's rookie season with Tennessee in 2024 was defined more by special teams than by receiving production: he caught just one pass for eight yards but logged 28 punt returns and 16 kick returns, showing the return skills that got him drafted in the first place.

2025 season recap

Jackson's 2025 season was unsettled. The Titans waived him in late August after drafting another return specialist, he had a brief offseason stint with the New England Patriots that did not stick, and he later signed with the New Orleans Saints' practice squad in mid-November before being waived again a week later. He went unsigned for the following months until joining the Houston Texans in May 2026.
