John Jenkins has been a journeyman run-stuffer since coming out of Georgia, lining up as a true nose tackle for a long list of teams. At 6-foot-3 and 327 pounds, he specializes in clogging the middle. He joined the Ravens in 2025 and took on an expanded role amid injuries up front.
Path to the league
Jenkins played his college football at Georgia and was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He spent the two seasons before Baltimore with the Las Vegas Raiders, starting every game in that stretch.

Per the team, Jenkins signed with the Ravens on May 16, 2025. After Nnamdi Madubuike suffered a season-ending neck injury early in the year, Jenkins assumed an expanded role as Baltimore's primary nose tackle, working in tandem with Travis Jones.
