Two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle who tied an NFL record for consecutive games with a sack during his 2023 breakout.
Nnamdi Madubuike, who played under the name Justin Madubuike for most of his career before reverting to his given first name, has anchored Baltimore's interior defensive line since 2020. His dominant 2023 season, capped by a $98 million extension, established him as one of the league's premier interior pass rushers.
Path to the league
Madubuike recorded 105 tackles and 11 sacks across three seasons at Texas A&M and earned Second-team All-SEC honors in 2019. The Baltimore Ravens drafted him in the third round (71st overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Career highlights
Madubuike broke out in 2023, becoming the first Raven since 2017 to reach double-digit sacks and tying an NFL record with a sack in 11 consecutive games (Weeks 4-14). That season earned him his first Pro Bowl selection and Second-team All-Pro honors. He signed a four-year, $98 million contract extension in March 2024 and made a second Pro Bowl in 2024.
2025 season recap
Madubuike's 2025 season was cut short by injury. He played just 2 games, recording 2 sacks and 9 tackles, before suffering a neck injury in Week 2 that was ruled season-ending on September 29, 2025.
