Jordan Mason is a Minnesota running back who joined the Vikings ahead of the 2025 season after starting his career in San Francisco. He led the team with 758 rushing yards in 2025. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech.
Path to the league
Mason played five seasons at Georgia Tech (2017-21), finishing 11th in program history in rushing yards (2,349) on 449 carries with 17 touchdowns across 43 games. He broke into the NFL with the 49ers before signing with Minnesota.
2025 season
Mason led the Vikings with 758 rushing yards on a career-high 159 carries with six rushing touchdowns, averaging 4.8 yards per carry over 16 games. With Aaron Jones sidelined by a hamstring injury, Mason turned 16 carries into 116 yards and two scores against Cincinnati, the only 100-yard rushing game by a Vikings back in 2025.
